In brief: Megan Fox announced Oct. 9 that she has launched a paid-content page on Subs.com and is a co-owner of the platform alongside OnlyFans co-creator Tim Stokely, Us Weekly and Page Six reported.
Plenty of celebrities have started paid pages. Megan Fox also bought into the platform.
“Megan Fox is dipping her toes into the subscription market,” Us Weekly reported. Fox, 40, announced on Friday, Oct. 9, that she partnered with Tim Stokely to launch a page on Subs.com offering “videos, photos and posts [fans] won’t find anywhere else.” Page Six reported she will also serve as a co-owner of Subs.com with Stokely.
The pitch
From Fox’s press release:
Women have spent decades being told that visibility is power while someone else owns the platform, the audience or the image. I’m interested in what happens when women own all three.
Stokely’s statement said she “became globally famous before talent had the tools to own their audiences or control their distribution.”
Why Stokely matters
Stokely co-founded OnlyFans in 2016 and later sold control of it. The platform he left reported $7.22 billion in gross payments and $1.41 billion in net revenue for fiscal 2024, and says it has paid creators more than $25 billion since 2016, Net Influencer reported. A movie star as both creator and co-owner is a different model from the usual celebrity page.
Us Weekly’s headline calls the site “racy”; the announcement did not specify what content Fox will post, and we have not seen the page. The launch comes after her split from Machine Gun Kelly; Us reports the two co-parent their daughter. The ownership details come from Page Six’s reporting via Us; terms were not disclosed.
So: a celebrity creator who also owns part of the platform she posts on. Expect other celebrities to ask their agents about the same deal.
