Siri Dahl Calls It on Election Night: ‘No Nut November Is Canceled’

Contains adult themes: this story is about an adult performer. Nothing explicit is described.

In brief: On Election Night, Nov. 3, performer and podcaster Siri Dahl posted on X that “No nut November is canceled” for people who voted blue, “especially if you live in Texas!” Earlier that day she posted a Zelda-themed get-out-the-vote meme. Her posts are her reactions, not results.

No Nut November usually lasts at least until the second week. Siri Dahl ended it on the third day.

At 9:42 p.m. Mountain on Nov. 3, she posted on X: “No nut November is canceled everybody who voted blue gets a celebratory nut especially if you live in Texas!” In the original, each phrase sits on its own line, which gives it the rhythm of a proclamation.

It is, technically, an amnesty with conditions. She did not say how anyone would check.

The setup

Her night had a prologue. At 1:23 p.m. Mountain she posted “Pokémon go to the polls,” with a meme reading “it’s Ocarina of TIME TO VOTE!” That borrows from Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, so the post managed to cite two video game franchises in one civic reminder. The image showed her in fairy cosplay next to a cut-out of Hillary Clinton; we have cropped it to just Dahl.

‘Especially if you live in Texas’

Her post did not name a race. The Associated Press reported Tuesday night that Democrat James Talarico defeated Republican Ken Paxton for a U.S. Senate seat in Texas, and that Democrat Gina Hinojosa ousted Republican Gov. Greg Abbott. Those results are the AP’s reporting. Dahl’s post is her reaction, and she did not say which result she had in mind.

Voters who chose differently were not addressed.

A busy night on the timeline

Dahl was one of several adult-industry names posting through the evening. Earlier, Brandi Love urged her followers to vote Republican. Later, Mia Khalifa live-posted the returns with her own one-liners, including “holy shit Texas flipped.”

This is not Dahl’s first appearance here as a commentator on how things work online. Last month she warned about fake Siri Snapchats and ran a porn-bot experiment on X. On Nov. 3 her subject was national, and her post did not ask anyone to wait for the final count.
