Contains adult themes: this story is about an adult creator and platform reach. Nothing explicit is described.
In brief: Fansly creator Alice Blaque said on X on Nov. 3 that she is getting about half the subscribers she was in recent weeks, which she blamed on an algorithm “basically hiding” sex workers. She said she will post only occasionally on X if another week goes by like that, and that she plans to start a TikTok account. The subscriber figures are her own; Channel 304 has not seen her numbers.
Some creators get a new month. Alice Blaque, the goth Fansly creator, says she got half a month.
In a three-post thread on Nov. 3, she laid out her week. “I’m getting like, half the subs that I was the past couple weeks thanks to the algorithm basically hiding SWers 🥰 Love that for me.”

SW is shorthand for sex workers. The smiling emoji is, we assume, doing some heavy lifting.
‘No benefit to me’
About three minutes later she set a deadline. “So if another week goes by and the algorithm basically shadow bans me, I’ll be very occasionally posting here.” Then the reasoning: “I’m not just posting content for free with no benefit to me. I don’t promote content on here for no reason. So yeah.”

It is the plain math of the job. Posts on X are advertising, and if the ads stop reaching people, the ads stop being worth making. She did not say how she measured the drop beyond her subscriber count, and she did not name a specific change on X.
Plan B has rules
Her third post named the alternative, and its catch. “I’ll also be making a TikTok account to start posting on. Let’s hope I can censor myself enough and follow the rules lol”

That is the trade a lot of adult creators are weighing: a bigger, stricter app versus a looser one that, by their account, is showing them to fewer people. TikTok’s community guidelines, as WIRED summarized them on Oct. 28, bar nudity and sexual activity and limit how far suggestive content travels. Her own X bio, by contrast, is a long way from anything TikTok would allow.
She gave X a week to change her mind. Channel 304 will check back. If the account goes quiet, that will be the answer.
