In brief: Adult star and director Joanna Angel posted on Instagram on Nov. 2 that she had finished the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon, in a pink costume. Her photo shows her with a finisher’s medal and a bib reading “66511 JOANNA” in front of the race’s finisher backdrop. She described the 26.2 miles as a walk of shame.
Most people dress up for Halloween, go to a party and get home the next morning. Joanna Angel did the same, if you take her word for it, except that the route home went through all five boroughs and had a medal at the end.
“That was the longest most exhausting walk of shame home from a Halloween party ever 💅,” she wrote on Instagram on Nov. 2, tagging it #2026nycmarathon.

The outfit
The photo leaves little doubt about the costume. She is wearing a short pink dress trimmed with pink feather puffs, pink patterned tights and a pearl necklace, with a pink pom-pom in her blond hair. She is holding up a peace sign. The medal and the bib, number 66511 with “JOANNA” printed on it, are where marathon finishers usually wear them.
The backdrop behind her is the official finisher wall, papered with sponsor logos and bands of the word “FINISHER” in case anyone in the photo forgot. It is not the usual setting for a party outfit. It is also not the usual outfit for 26.2 miles.
One commenter called it a “Lovely Fembot costume.” She did not confirm the character, so neither will we.
She warned everyone
This was not a surprise entry. Back on Oct. 7, as Channel 304 reported, she posted on X, “The hot body that will run a marathon! Remember to donate,” without naming the race or the cause. Now we know the race. Her Link.me profile already lists her as a “marathon runner,” between “Lemon thief” and “food eater.”
It is not her first time, either. In an earlier Instagram post she wrote that she was fundraising to run the NYC marathon “again.” Under this one, a fan wrote, “U did it !! Again!!”
The time, which we are not telling you
Another commenter asked the obvious question: “Were you happy with your run time this year?” Her post does not say, and Channel 304 has not confirmed a finish time from the official results, so we will not guess. In a marathon run in a feathered dress, any finish counts.
The “walk of shame” line undersells it, of course. Most walks of shame do not come with an official clock, sponsor branding and a medal. Most also stop at the front door. Hers stopped at Central Park.
Still, the framing fits a city that throws its biggest race one weekend after Halloween. Someone was always going to run it still in costume. It just helps when that person has the bib, the medal and the photo to prove it.
