Allie Darlin Went From Prostate Biopsies to Domme Work: ‘You Need a Catheter Change? I Got You’

In brief: In an AVN “Fresh Faces” profile posted Oct. 13, Allie Darlin said she spent nine years as a medical assistant, ending up at a urology and bladder cancer treatment center, and that she did domme work for 10 years; for the past two years she has been moving into studio features.

Plenty of performers list a past life in health care. Allie Darlin’s is more specific than most.

In a Fresh Faces profile by Sonny Malone, which appears in AVN’s October issue and was posted online Oct. 13, she walked through her old job:

My job title was a medical assistant. I did that for nine years. But by the time I was done, I was working at a urology prostate bladder cancer treatment center

She said she did prostate biopsies and bladder cancer treatment toward the end. Then she laughed: “That’s hot. So, so hot. You need a catheter change? I got you.”

The career change

Before COVID, she was working toward becoming a nurse practitioner. “I was on my third degree out of five,” she said. “However, COVID broke me a little bit. I was a very grumpy, unhappy person.”

“I did domme work for 10 years. Then COVID happened,” she told AVN, which says she once called herself a “Surgical Dom.” Her explanation of the switch: “I’ve done a lot of things sexually without a camera, so I might as well film it.”

The medical background still comes up at work. “I do a lot of ball-busting sessions, mostly because I know how to take care of them after,” she said.

Independent, for now

She works independently and has no agent, according to AVN, and for the past two years she has been moving into studio features. “Camming is an extra now, and everything else is building a name and a career,” she said.

The most recent request that made her day was a gentle one. “I just had a man the other night, paid fifty dollars to video chat. He was wearing pink underwear,” she said.

He picked the song, and he danced for me, and I cheered him on, and it was a great time.

“Being a domme is very psychological,” she said. “It’s just knowing other people’s psyche.”

Her work history and timeline come from her own account to AVN; we haven’t independently confirmed them. She’s not the only performer with a medical résumé: Michael Vegas went to nursing school before adult film, and Bhad Bhabie says she’s working on a nursing license.

Somewhere, a urology clinic lost a very good medical assistant. By her account, her new clients still get the aftercare.
