In brief: Anissa Kate Battles Four Bosses Over One Intern in Adult Time’s ‘Boss Overload’: ‘I Definitely Think I Won’.
Every intern’s nightmare is walking into the wrong meeting on day one. In Adult Time’s latest “MILF Overload” release, that nightmare has five executives, one agenda item and Anissa Kate at the head of the table.

The studio dropped “Boss Overload,” the newest installment of the Jim Powers-directed series, XBIZ reported on Oct. 6. Kate leads a cast of Alexis Malone, Adira Allure, Rachel Steele and Frenchy as the executives, with Elias Cash as the hapless new hire. A press release carried by YNOT the same day lays out the premise: Cash stumbles into a board meeting looking for his first assignment, the five bosses all “immediately take a shine to him,” and an argument breaks out over which team gets him. Unable to reach consensus, the executives settle it the way only an adult studio’s corporate structure would: with a contest. We’ll let the studio handle the minutes from there.
Kate, who has the confidence of someone who has seen a lot of performance reviews, called the result before anyone else could:
“This is like the hall of fame of hot MILF performers, all competing to be the best this young man has ever had. And competition really brought out the best in all of us. Personally, I definitely think I won.”
No word yet on whether HR will be reviewing that self-assessment.
Why it matters, in our read: ensemble releases are a status signal. Studios tend to put their best-known names at the top of the billing, and the synopsis makes Kate the one leading the fight over the intern. The YNOT release bills her as a “multi-award-winning French/Algerian superstar performer, director, creator, and influencer,” and notes she is represented by Mark Spiegler. In a cast stacked with veterans, the studio still handed her the gavel.
Our read: “MILF Overload” works because it leans into a joke everybody gets, the office comedy where the new guy is clearly in over his head. Powers seems to know the bit lands better when the cast plays it straight, and Kate’s “I definitely think I won” is a better tagline than most marketing departments could write.
