Laith Larson’s numbers suggest that finding scene partners is mostly a lot of unanswered messages.
In an Oct. 11 X thread titled “Business Thoughts,” Larson said he has had 99 female scene partners in four years, and that when he asked one to guess how many had approached him first, she said “about half.” His answer: five.

Trying to find people to work with is one of the most mentally draining and depressing parts of the job for me.
His estimates: about 15 serious collab requests in four years, a roughly 33% response rate to his own outreach, and a close rate “somewhere between 5-8%, if I had to guess.” He says the volume of partners reflects how hard he works to find them, not how much choice he has. His advice to women creators is to send that polite message first.
Bring outfits for your scene partners
Earlier the same day, he posted a tip for male creators: bring wardrobe options for scene partners. He says he packs 5–10 pieces when traveling.

And EVERY SINGLE TIME my scene partners are IMPRESSED that I have a few things for them to try on.
He wrote that he’ll “take the easy credit,” but added that partners “almost NEVER” tell him what they’d like to see him wear.
All figures are Larson’s own estimates from his posts. Collab outreach is a common topic among independent creators; we have covered other creators’ business posts on our creators page.
He brings outfits for his partners, but none of them have suggested one for him.
