Most new neighbors bring over a casserole. Rachael Cavalli brings a pep talk about life after divorce, and in Girlsway’s world, that’s a much more effective icebreaker.

Cavalli stars alongside Sophia Locke in “The Next Chapter of Our Lives,” the latest release from Girlsway, directed by Seth Gamble, according to a release from The Rub PR published by PVM Chicago on Oct. 6. Locke plays a recently divorced woman who has just moved into a new neighborhood. When Cavalli drops by to introduce herself, it turns out she’s freshly divorced too. As the chat gets personal, Locke jokes that she’d have been better off born a lesbian. Cavalli looks her in the eye and reminds her they’re both free women now, free to do whatever they want. The welcome wagon takes it from there.
Cavalli was quick to share the credit:
“You’re really going to love this scene. Sophia is not just unbelievably hot; she’s also so good at everything she does. And with a real artist like Seth behind the camera, everything came out looking so gorgeous and perfectly shot.”
The bigger picture is Cavalli’s staying power. According to the release, she has spent 10 years in adult, working with studios including Brazzers, Naughty America, Elegant Angel, Girlsway, Penthouse, Wicked Pictures and Adam & Eve. She’s picked up the Editor’s Choice for Best MILF Performer from NightMoves, MILF Performer of the Year from the Urban X Awards, and Porn Star of the Year from the Cammy Awards. Her mainstream-magazine run includes the January 2021 cover of Playboy New Zealand and the June 2022 issue of FHM Australia, and she was crowned a Playmate after appearing in Playboy Australia.
The release also offers the origin story: she’s from the Midwest but has the soul of a California girl, loving the beach and roller skating, and she was bartending in college before friends in the industry convinced her to give it a try. Not a bad career pivot.
Our read: Girlsway built its brand on storylines, and a premise about two women starting over is a natural fit for a performer whose own career has been a long, steady second act. A divorce plot with a hopeful ending is about as wholesome as this corner of the business gets.
XBIZ also covered the release on Oct. 7. Per the release, Cavalli is available exclusively through OC Modeling. As for the casserole, nobody missed it.
