In brief: Tera Patrick: On Oct. 3, the veteran star asked her followers to help pick: “Tonight’s movie choices : Good Time or The Lighthouse ? Who’s seen what and which one ?”
Movie night in the Tera Patrick household went the way movie night always goes.
On Oct. 3, the veteran star asked her followers to help pick: “Tonight’s movie choices : Good Time or The Lighthouse ? Who’s seen what and which one ?”
Both are well-regarded indie films. Good Time is the Safdie brothers’ crime thriller starring Robert Pattinson. The Lighthouse is Robert Eggers’ black-and-white fever dream, which also stars Pattinson. Either way, the night was going to be intense.
Two days later, on Oct. 5, Patrick posted the result: “We ended up watching Arrested Development 🤣”

Anyone who has ever spent forty minutes scrolling a streaming menu knows exactly how that happened. You start out planning a prestige double feature and end up watching a sitcom about a family that won’t stop making bad decisions.
There are worse choices. Arrested Development has a fan base that swears by rewatching it, and it has the advantage of not leaving anyone unable to sleep.
The laughing emoji suggests no regrets, and so does the GIF she attached.
It’s been a nostalgic stretch for Patrick online. A week later she was telling Kip Winger she’d had his 1989 duet on repeat. The streaming queue, apparently, is an eclectic place.
The polled fans may want a recount. But in the end the remote decides, and the remote picked the Bluths.
There’s always money in the banana stand, and apparently there’s always time for one more episode.
