In brief: On Holly Randall Unfiltered (Sept. 28), Courtney Tillia said a viral week of hate after Andrew Tate quote-tweeted a “Christian porn star” story about her made her want to quit, and that she wishes she had leaned in instead. A short of the segment posted Oct. 12.

Most teachers leave the classroom for a quieter life. Courtney Tillia left for OnlyFans, then got the noisiest week of her career from people who had never met her.
On Holly Randall Unfiltered (“Bankrupt School Teacher Turned OF Millionaire: Courtney Tillia’s Story,” Sept. 28), she walked through how a New York Post story became a pile-on. Holly Randall clipped the same stretch as a Short on Oct. 12.
The Post pitch that paid
She said the breakthrough was 2021, when the New York Post ran a piece about a former special-ed teacher turned OnlyFans creator, and that month became her first six-figure month. The story, by her account, started with a sassy airport pitch: she messaged Post journalists on Twitter, got a same-week interview, and watched the piece land Monday morning with her husband’s name wrong throughout and a “sex worker” label she had not used for herself when she was only posting topless content.
Barstool Sports picked it up too, she said, calling her “the new version of the American dream.” Looking back, she told Randall the only thing she would change is that she would have “continue[d] to lean into it” instead of shutting down under the hate.
The week the timeline found her
One flashpoint, as she told it (10:43):
Andrew Tate tweeted that I was one of the reasons he turned Muslim.
“Consider that a [expletive] compliment,” Randall answered. Tillia agreed it was “100 percent” a compliment in framing, then described the inbox: “the amount of hate that I got that week between him, Candace Owens made a video about me,” and The Breakfast Club naming her “donkey of the day” before, she said, pulling it after the host read the story. “That particular week, I got so much hate that I was like, I don’t want to do this.”
Her regret now is tactical: if she had treated the week as a chance “to teach people and educate,” she said, she would have done those things differently.
Outside reporting backs the broad timeline with a nuance on Tate’s wording. The New York Post (April 24, 2023) and a Daily Star interview framed Tillia as a Christian adult creator; thejjReport and other outlets say Tate quote-tweeted that coverage with the sarcastic line “Andrew why did you convert to Islam?” (reported 18 million-plus views), not a literal claim that she caused a conversion. Her lines about Candace Owens and The Breakfast Club are her account on Holly’s show; we did not independently verify those clips. Channel 304 previously covered her Dr. Phil appearance and her dog rescue and skydiving stories.
So the week that almost made her quit is now a clip with a timestamp. The lesson she wants from it is simpler than the timeline: next time, lean in.
