Piracy has finally met its collections department, and the invoice came from Italy.

On Oct. 11, Italian star Valentina Nappi posted a notice to everyone who has enjoyed her work without paying: “If you have ever watched my scenes for free, you own me a gift!”

She almost certainly meant “owe.” But the typo makes a point of its own. The scenes are hers, and she was taking deliveries.

The second came from the same fan, through the same service: “I just received Conferencing Kit + from brunksi via Throne. Thank you!” Both carried the hashtags #Wishlist and #Throne and linked to the same wishlist page.

Nappi didn’t say whether brunksi was one of the free viewers settling up or just a generous fan, and she didn’t put a figure on what the rest of the internet owes.

Money talk is having a moment on these pages. Nikki Benz’s career motto is simply “Pay me”.

The collections department reports one account settled. The rest of the internet remains on notice.
