Amalia Davis Went From Yacht Supervisor to 11 Shoots a Month in LA, After Strangers Told Her Whole Family

In brief: In two Plug Talk clips (Oct. 9 and 10), Amalia Davis said a group of strangers messaged her friends and family after her first scene, and that she booked 11 shoots in her first month in LA after signing with ATMLA.

Most people dread the moment their family finds out about their job. Amalia Davis said a group of strangers handled it for her, unasked.

The performer, who posts as @AmaliaDavisXXX on X, told her story in two Plug Talk clips: “Amalia on Doing P*rn for a Living vs Having a Normal Job” (Oct. 9) and “Amalia on How A Hater told Her Family She Was a Cornstar” (Oct. 10).

The day job

Asked about her old work in Russia, she said (5:38): “I worked as a yacht supervisor. … And I was selling off-plan properties.” She liked the routine, she said, “but at the same time, I just wanted like more adventures.” Her reasoning: she could “come back to office job like anytime when I want like when I will be 30, 35, whatever.”

She said she first thought it could be “just a fun story, because I never expected someone to reply me,” but got an offer within two or three days (2:38). She didn’t tell her family, “but they found out like in 1 month.”

The group message

How they found out is the story of the Oct. 10 clip. Asked how much judgment she faced in Russia, she said, “Yes,” and described a group she couldn’t name. When a new performer’s first scene came out, she said, they made a point of telling “family relatives uh classmates … friends from university like everyone completely” (0:42). Then:

So like all my friends just got a message in one day and uh like we had a huge scandal with my family.

They didn’t ask for money, she said; “they just did it” (1:05). She thought the idea was to shame new performers into quitting, which backfired: “it’s an opposite result because once everyone knows … you continue doing it.” One host joked that they had spared her a lot of awkward conversations. Today, she said, “everything is fine” with her family.

Budapest, then LA

She worked in Budapest, at first commuting back and forth from Dubai, where she lived while getting her driver’s license (5:01). She liked the relaxed pace and the food, but said the city has “very limited amount of performers,” with “almost no new faces” (3:08). The U.S. offered better promotion, she said, and more people to work with.

So far LA is working out. “Like this month I had 11,” she said of her bookings (4:48). “I signed with ATMA and I’m very happy about the decision.”

Her X bio reads “bookings @_ATMLA,” matching the agency she named on the show; the captions render it “ATMA.” The group-message campaign, her old jobs and her booking count are her own account. We found no outside coverage that confirms or contradicts them.

So the hate campaign meant to end her career mostly saved her some awkward family dinners. Eleven bookings later, whoever sent those messages may want a refund on their outrage.
