The studio closed out its Superstar September celebration on Sept. 30 with “Performers of the Year 2026: The Big Orgy,” the ensemble finale of the annual title, AVN’s Joanne Cachapero reported that day. The complete film arrived on VOD at the same time. Clouds is one of only three women given a showcase scene in the movie, alongside reigning AVN Female Performer of the Year Jennifer White and Cherry Kiss, and she’s back again for the finale with White, Octavia Red, Chanel Camryn and Gal Ritchie. Vince Karter and Zac Wild are the male leads.
Director Sid Knox didn’t bury the lede. He told AVN:
“This year’s Performers of the Year is the All-Star Game of our industry.”
He then singled out “the top three girls — Jennifer White, Anna Claire Clouds and Cherry Kiss” as the stars of the showcase half of the film, and called the full lineup possibly “the best Performers of the Year cast we’ve ever filmed.” Directors say that a lot. Fewer of them put it on the record with a reigning Female Performer of the Year in the cast.
Why it matters for Clouds, in our read: in an ensemble title, billing is the story. A finale spot means you made the class photo. A showcase scene means the studio thinks you can carry a chapter on your own name. Clouds got both, and Knox put her in the same breath as White, the performer currently holding the industry’s biggest individual trophy.
Our read: Elegant Angel returns to this title every year, and this edition landed as award-nomination chatter starts. Whether or not anyone admits it, the cast list works like an informal ballot, and Clouds landed in the top line of it.
There’s also a quieter point. Clouds didn’t need a viral moment or a controversy to stay in the conversation this season. She got there the old-fashioned way: a prestige studio decided she belonged at the head of the table.
