Miyu Aizawa, Almost 500 Titles In, Says Her Knees Will Retire Before She Does — and a Taxi Driver’s ‘Debut’ Went Very Differently Than She Expected

Contains adult themes: this story is about an adult-video performer’s posts about her work. Nothing explicit is described.

In brief: Japanese adult-video performer Miyu Aizawa, who says she is almost at 500 titles, posted a list on X of what goes through the head of an actress who shoots more than 100 a year. Highlights include respect for her stamina-monster peers and the prediction that her knees will retire first. Industry site av-jouhoukan reports she placed 3rd in FANZA’s monthly actress ranking after 1st the time before.

Most people measure a busy year in meetings. Miyu Aizawa measures it in titles, and by her count she is about to hit 500. On Nov. 1, Japan time, she thanked fans for her FANZA rankings and added:

もうすぐ500本突破!!
みんなが今後数十年、困ること(この世にAVありすぎて困りようがないだろうけど)がないようにこれからも生み出していくね

(“Almost past 500 titles!! I’ll keep making them so none of you are ever stuck for the next few decades (though with this much AV in the world, I doubt you could be).”) It is a public-service pledge, delivered with the confidence of someone who knows supply will not be the problem.

The rankings in question come from industry site av-jouhoukan, which reported that she placed 3rd in FANZA’s monthly AV actress ranking updated Nov. 1, after placing 1st in the previous update on Oct. 1.

A few hours later she posted a list titled “年間100本以上撮るAV女優の脳内” (“Inside the brain of an AV actress who shoots 100+ titles a year”). It opens:

In English: “If not now, when do I work hard? / It’s way too exhausting, but it pays off in about three months, so it’s fine. / Huge respect for the freelance actresses who’ve kept selling for years without losing pace. Stamina monsters. / Lately the concepts overlap, so where do I make the difference? / At this rate, my knees are going to retire before I do. / My back is giving out.”

The full version keeps going in the same spirit, with lines like “AVに携わるおじ達大好き” (“I love the middle-aged guys who work in AV”) and a closing question worthy of a philosophy seminar: “果たしてこの肉体労働を続けられる私は人間なのか、、、” (“Am I, the one who can keep up this physical labor, even human…”).

As of Nov. 2 the X API showed the list at 532,008 views, 8,017 likes and 1,047 bookmarks. That is a lot of people bookmarking a knee prognosis.

Her week had already supplied one of the better misunderstandings of the year. On Oct. 31, she posted about a taxi ride:

タクシーの運転手さん「僕デビューしたばかりなので道教えてください」
私「えっ!?デビューしたんですか!?😳」
運転手さん「???」
デビューに対する温度感が違いすぎた

(“Taxi driver: ‘I just debuted, so please tell me the way.’ Me: ‘Wait, what?! You debuted?!’ Driver: ‘???’ We had wildly different temperatures about the word ‘debut.’”) The X API showed that one at 267,685 views. The driver, presumably, still just wanted directions.

Aizawa debuted with S1 in December 2023; her agency, NAX, lists her birth date as Jan. 25, 2001. Almost 500 titles in under three years is the kind of pace that explains the knees.
