Some rumors come from a source. According to Daphne Joy, this one came from the weather.
The model, described by The Jasmine Brand as 50 Cent’s ex, returned to Pillow Talk (“DAPHNE JOY ADDRESSES KANYE WEST 3-S*M RUMORS,” Sept. 29) for her second sit-down with host Ryan Pownall. “We don’t usually interview the same people within six months,” Pownall said (1:01). He added that her first visit, on June 10, was “our top viewed episode of 2026” by his count.
The rumor
About six minutes in, Pownall raised a rumor that Jay-Z and Beyoncé had made her an offer (6:00). Her answer was a flat denial (6:25):
Well, um that rumor was completely made up from the sky.
She still played along with the hypothetical. If it ever happened, she said, “I would be so intimidated” (6:41). When Pownall followed up with a crack at Jay-Z, she shut him down: “Oh, stop, Ryan.”
Later in the episode (27:41), the talk turned to a separate rumor involving Kanye West and Bianca Censori, the one in the episode’s title. Complex reported that she declined to confirm or deny it, saying only that they’re “a very, very sexy hot couple.”
The Brittany Renner round
Pownall also brought up her feud with streamer Brittany Renner. According to Yahoo and The Jasmine Brand (Sept. 16), it started when Renner mocked Joy during a livestream and Joy answered with a poolside video defending her view that she loves “when my man takes care of me.” On the show she repeated her closing line (3:10):
I said if you’re going to come for me, please don’t look like you’ve been fighting dogs all night.
She told Pownall she doesn’t “like to like woman bash,” but “it was important to address her finally when I had time” (4:03), since it had happened “multiple times.” Asked whether she knows Renner, she said, “No, I don’t know her at all” (4:13). Renner answered too: Complex reported that she fired back, writing, “You’re overfilled and I’m still underwhelmed.”
Complex’s Sept. 30 write-up confirms her denial and quotes the same “made up from the sky” line. That the rumor was false rests on her word; we found no source that backs the rumor. Her X account is @DaphneJoy.
So, for the record: no offer, no deal, and a rumor that arrived from somewhere above the clouds. Even Beyoncé can’t close a deal that never existed.
