DeVille opened by introducing “my very pregnant bestie Holly Randall and she is here to torture me today.” Randall explained the experiment: “The only thing I crave is ice water, which I know is really bizarre.” DeVille corrected her: “Boring. It’s not bizarre. It’s boring.”
The scorecard
Corn flakes with ranch and hot sauce: the surprise hit. Randall gave it a nine and said, “I am 100% going to buy corn flakes, ranch, and hot sauce on my way home.” DeVille, who doesn’t like ranch, gave it a three.
Ice cream with tuna: it scored a 2.5 and a zero. The zero came with a fact-check: “I don’t think that there’s a pregnant woman out there that eats that.”
Olives with blue cheese: DeVille called it “a true masterpiece” and gave it a nine. Randall spat hers out and got the house rule from DeVille: “Spitters are quitters.” Randall’s score: “Negative 22.”
Pickles with peanut butter: both bailed. “Okay, now we’re both quitters.”
Hot Cheetos, plain: the intermission, and a confession. Randall’s husband thought they were trashy, so she secretly ate them with chopsticks. She told the story again on X:
